Interesting Reading December 12, 2006
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Michelle Malkin reports Rep. Jim McDermott ( D-Wash.) has been found guilty of ethics violations. What's next? Probably nothing as the culture of corruption in D.C. will continue no matter which party is in charge.
Independent Conservative brings to light some truths about possible presidential candidate Barack Obama. The post contrasts Sen. Obama's (D-Ill.) claims of religious faith with his voting record. Of special note is a quote by Sen. Obama from 2004 in which he expresses "healthy skepticism of organized religion." What that means is anybody's guess but based on the context in which he made the statement I find myself scratching my head.
Hang Right Politics has a link to this CNN.com report on how our future House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Silvestre Reyes (D-Tex.) was unable to answer two simple questions about al Quaeda and Hezbollah. I truly hope Rep. Reyes spends his holiday studying world events.
Update 12/13/06: Hugh Hewitt posts the differences between Sunnis and Shiites.
