Interesting Reading: May 31, 2006
Watson Gill of the Pakistan Christian Post has a question for the Christian church in Europe and in the United States. He looks at Luigi Cascioli, who is trying to use the European court system to prove that Christianity is a myth. He also looks at the recent release of 'The Da Vinci Code.' His question: What are Christians in Europe and The U.S. doing about these conspiracies against the faith?
Independent Conservative has an in depth Guard the Borders Blogburst spelling out the truth behind the recently approved Senate immigration bill. I think there is a lot wrong with this bill and continue to hope it dies in House/Senate negotiations. We need to secure our borders not create more loopholes in our borders.
On May 24th Interesting Reading included The Evangelical Outpost who took a tongue-n-cheek shot at other bloggers. This wound up being one of the Outpost's most read and linked to posts of the year. Now, in 'Kerr's Folly and Christian Bloggers' Evangelical Outpost asks us to consider how Christian bloggers choose to reward each other. I admit that I struggle on this point. Should I do more to bring in more readers, like say something controversial? After all I did link to the Royal Rumble admitting that I was riding the Outpost's coat tails. And my occasional 'Interesting Reading' is nothing more than links to other blogs and to news articles I think others may want to read.
Bottom line, as a Christian I should do all for God. Obeying Him also means trusting Him to bring readers to this blog or to anything else I write in the future.
