Interesting Reading: 2/24/06

There is a lot of news in the abortion arena. Independent Conservative gets us caught up in The Fight To Save Babies Continues. Of particular interest are the banning of most abortions in South Dakota and the Dutch story about using abortion to reduce the number of blacks. Once signed by the governor, South Dakota's law will spark quite a court battle. The outcome should be very interesting with the current makeup of the U.S. Supreme Court. As for the Dutch story, this is inevitable when a country destroys its moral compass in favor of liberal ideology.

LaShawn Barber chimes in on the education front with Montgomery County Dumbs Down 'Gifted' Programs. Some things defy logic. Making gifted programs easier is one of those things.

The Deep Freeze examines the parental dilemma of dealing with the way sex is portrayed on t.v. and in society in Wishing For Simpler Times. I agree with Mike in wondering how effective I will be in countering MTV's soft porn.

Thanks to a ridiculous comment by Sen. Hillary Clinton, the debate over school vouchers pops up on Independent Conservative and on Jacklewis.net. I hope to take a look at vouchers on a later date.
