Freedom Under Attack II

Michelle Malkin posts some of the email threats she has received in conjunction with her posting the infamous Muslim cartoons. Her blog was also "hit by a large, foreign-based denial of service attack" following a Tuesday appearance on Fox News Channel where she discussed the cartoons.

For a moment, just a moment, let us put aside any discussion of the appropriateness of the cartoons. Let's lay down political party, and liberal vs. conservative ideology. A citizen of the United States has been threatened for exercising her Constitutionally guaranteed right of freedom of expression. It is time for all Americans to take a stand for what is right and to recognize the goals of those who would threaten our freedoms.

Unlike our foes I will not stoop to threats, or to riots and violence. My God is a God of peace and my faith in Him does not allow for such a response. So I will keep my response very simple, and say to those who threatened freedom, this response is a direct result of your actions.

I personally find the cartoons distasteful, but as a statement against the wrongs being committed around the world and in unity with Ms. Malkin, here are all 12 cartoons. Thank you Michelle for the link.
